HISTORY

One of the earliest cultures to employ cosmetics and fragrances was Egypt. Both men and women used dyes and paints to color their skin as early as 10,000 BCE, and scented oils and ointments to clean and soften it (as well as conceal body odor). Where both Egyptian men and women used makeup to enhance their appearance. The first cosmetics appeared 5,000 years ago in Egypt. To achieve a pleasant smell and softness of the skin, incense oils were used, and women applied white to protect their faces from the sun. The Egyptians were also the first to use black antimony-based paint as eyeliner. And to create a natural blush, crushed flowers were used.

Skincare

The first step is to prepare the skin by using face-specific skin care. Anyone with dry skin should use moisturizing skincare because it keeps their skin from bobbing, but those with oily skin should avoid using heavy skincare because it makes their skin too oily.

Sunscreen

Sunscreen, commonly referred to as sunblock or sun cream, is a photoprotective topical skin product that aids in preventing skin cancer and, more critically, sunburn. Sunscreens are available as creams, gels, foams, sticks, powders, and other topical preparations. Sunscreen is the most important to protect your skin. If you use skincare but not use sunscreen, you still have poor skin. Sunscreen are the techniques to safeguard the health and beauty of your skin at any age. Regular use of sunscreen aids in avoiding sunburn, skin cancer, and early aging.

Primer

Next is “primers”, which are available in gel, cream, or spray form, can help to create an even canvas for your makeup application by filling in fine lines and blurring large pores. Because primers are both moisturizing and oil-controlling, you should select one that is appropriate for your skin. This step helps the makeup glide on evenly, last longer, and avoid looking cakey. Primer is one of a good way to lock in your makeup, but if you don’t want heavy makeup, you can skip this step.

Foundation

It is a product that aids in the smoothing and consistency of facial skin while concealing dark spots, redness, and unwanted wrinkles. Many factors influence the level of coverage you seek. Foundations range in coverage from sheer to full coverage, similar to skin tints or tinted moisturizers. It is critical to select a foundation finish that complements your skin tone. For example, those with dry skin should use a foundation with a dewy glow finish. While oily skin should use a matte foundation to help control oil.

Concealer

Concealer is a makeup product that is used to conceal specific areas of the face such as acne scars, dark circles under the eyes, hyperpigmentation, redness, or even bulging blemishes that radiate from the face. It is currently available in a variety of shades. Specific formulas for different skin types, such as oily skin, dry skin, and sensitive skin, have been developed, as well as a variety of product textures, such as liquid texture, cream texture, and others. It is not recommended for beginners to blend with their fingers because it may scratch the concealer  not smooth or easily stained If you have a concealer that is lighter than your skin tone, you can apply it to the highlighting area of your face to add dimension.

Contour and Highlighter

The next step is to add dimension with contour and highlighter. Contour is available in powder, liquid, and cream formulas, with powder being the most forgiving and thus ideal for beginners. Focus an angled brush on the areas where you want to add dimension, such as your jawline, under your cheekbones, around your hairline, and on the sides of your nose. Then apply highlighter, concentrating on the high points of your face where the sun would naturally fall. The most realistic dimension is achieved by applying highlighter above the cheekbones, by the brow arch, and down the bridge of the nose and blending thoroughly.

Blush

Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks to natural-looking flush, blending with your brush in circular motions. Blushing is important because it adds color to our faces, especially when we know how to apply blush to our face shape and the skin tone became even more lovely.
