Generating Reports
Generating a report on Dashword started as you’ve logged in. Just enter your keyword, select your target country, and then click the “Generate report” button. Within a few minutes, your report will be ready. Simply click to open it and explore all the data collected by Dashword.
This page will show as soon as you’ve logged in.
Dashword will discover the information around your keyword. First, a benchmark of the top 3 and top 10 results for the selected country’s keyword. These measure:
- The content quality
- The readability level of the content
- The average word count
The indication shows what kind of competition you’re up against.
Next, a detailed overview of your keyword’s top 30 search results with an individual content score and word count per result. Dashword determines the importance of each term and grades them. It helps you relevant your subject and help search engines better understand your content.
Using the content editor
With all the information from the report, you can also start writing the content! If you scroll to the top of the report page, there’s a button “Create new article”. Click the button to bring you to the Dashword content editor. The content editor helps you apply all best practices of content optimization and saves you loads of time.
At the top of the screen, The content grade is a quality score for your content. It measures how good your content is and how well it covers your subject. The word count recommends length for your content based on the competition’s.
On the sidebar on the left, shows all the relevant terms it has extracted for your keyword. The terms are ranked by importance in descending order. Once you start writing content, They will be highlighted in the content that you’re writing. “Hide used keywords” button is useful to get a quick look at all the topics you have not yet covered.
Collaborating with freelance writers
Dashword can also be useful if you work with external writers or freelancers, you can create a report, write up a content brief, generate a public link and share it with your writer.
AI writing
Another thing you can do in Dashword’s content editor is generate content using AI. There are four things you can do with the AI writer: Generate an introduction for your article, continue writing to expand on the content, automatically fix your grammar and spelling, or rephrase the selected text.

Keyword Research
Dashword can also help you to discover new keyword ideas for your SEO campaign. Open up the Keyword Research tool from the left-hand sidebar. Then, input a seed keyword and hit Search.
Alongside each result, you’ll see all the metrics you need to analyze keyword opportunities. Including, the monthly search volume for each keyword, the competition and difficulty score, and the CPC (cost-per-click).
If you want to export these keyword ideas to your computer, just click Download CSV in the top right corner. And if you see a keyword you want to target, you can create a report for it in one click.
Content Monitoring
If you sign up for business, you will be able to access the content monitoring tool. It uses Google Analytics data to monitor your content and track its performance in the SERPs, then lets you know if it needs to be updated.
The Content Monitoring tool will track your rankings and let you know whether your traffic is trending up or down, so you can quickly identify your pages’ weaknesses and take action to improve them. It also automatically generates weekly keyword reports and imports your pages automatically.
Google Docs Add-On
You can install Dashboard through the Google Workspace Marketplace, so you can optimize content within Google Docs. Once you’ve installed it, the same features you get inside the content editor will be visible inside Google Docs.
